- Instructions
- Prep Your Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients. If you're using fresh guava, peel and chop it into chunks, and freeze them for about an hour.
- Combine in Blender: In a blender, add the frozen guava chunks, lime juice, white rum, and simple syrup. If you prefer a thicker texture, feel free to add a cup of ice.
- Blend: Blend on high until smooth and creamy. You might need to stop and scrape down the sides to ensure everything is well mixed.
- Taste Test: Once blended, taste your daiquiri. If you like it sweeter, add more simple syrup and blend again. Adjust the lime juice for tartness as per your preference.
- Serve: Pour the mixture into chilled glasses. For a fancy touch, you can garnish with a slice of fresh guava or a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.
- Variations
- Berry Guava Daiquiri: Add a handful of frozen strawberries or raspberries to the blender for a mixed berry twist.
- Non-Alcoholic Version: Omit the rum and replace it with coconut water or sparkling water for a refreshing mocktail.
- Spicy Guava Daiquiri: For a kick, muddle some fresh jalapeños in the blender before adding the other ingredients.
