Caramel Apple Mule Cocktail Recipe
Caramel Apple Mule
Equipment
- Equipment Needed: Cocktail shaker, jigger or measuring cup, stirring spoon, and 2 copper mugs or glasses.
Ingredients
- Ingredients
- For Each Serving:
- 2 oz vodka or spiced rum for a different twist
- 4 oz apple cider preferably fresh
- 1 oz caramel sauce plus extra for drizzling
- 4 oz ginger beer
- Slices of fresh apple for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Method
- Prepare the Glasses: Drizzle caramel sauce inside your copper mugs or glasses for a beautiful presentation. You can use a spoon to create swirls for a decorative touch.
- Mix the Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka (or spiced rum), apple cider, and caramel sauce. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds. This will chill the mixture and help blend the flavors.
- Assemble the Drink: Fill each prepared mug with ice cubes, then strain the cocktail mixture into the mugs.
- Top it Off: Carefully pour ginger beer over the cocktail mixture in each mug. Stir gently to combine.
- Garnish: Add slices of fresh apple on top for garnish and drizzle a bit more caramel sauce if desired.
- Serve and Enjoy: Give it a little stir before sipping and enjoy the crisp, sweet, and spicy flavors!
- Variations
- For a Lower-Calorie Version: Use diet ginger beer and reduce the amount of caramel sauce.
- For a Non-Alcoholic Version: Replace vodka with extra apple cider and add a splash of lemon juice for acidity.
- Add Spices: Consider adding a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg for an extra kick of fall flavor.
