Frozen Peach Daiquiri: A Refreshing Cocktail Recipe
Frozen Peach Daiquiri
Equipment
- Equipment Needed: Blender, measuring cups, jigger, and cocktail glasses
Ingredients
- Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen peaches or fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice about 2 limes
- 1/4 cup white rum adjust based on preference
- 2 tablespoons simple syrup adjust for sweetness
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Optional: Peach slices and mint for garnish
Instructions
- Method
- Prepare Your Ingredients:
- If using fresh peaches, slice and freeze them for a few hours or overnight. This will give your daiquiri that frosty texture.
- Blend the Ingredients:
- In a blender, combine the frozen peaches, lime juice, white rum, simple syrup, and ice cubes. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. You might need to stop and scrape down the sides to ensure everything is well blended.
- Taste and Adjust:
- From my own personal experience, it’s essential to taste your daiquiri at this stage. If it’s not sweet enough for your liking, add more simple syrup and blend again. For a tangier kick, a splash more lime juice can do wonders!
- Serve:
- Pour the mixture into chilled cocktail glasses. If you like, garnish with fresh peach slices or a sprig of mint for a touch of elegance.
- Enjoy:
- Sip and enjoy the cool, fruity flavors of your Frozen Peach Daiquiri!
- Variations
- Fruity Daiquiri: Substitute peaches with other frozen fruits like mangoes, strawberries, or mixed berries for a fruity twist.
- Non-Alcoholic Version: Omit the rum and replace it with coconut water or sparkling water for a refreshing mocktail.
- Diet-Friendly: For a lower-calorie version, use a sugar substitute for the simple syrup, or skip it entirely if your peaches are sweet enough.
