Instructions
- Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries: If using fresh strawberries, wash them thoroughly, remove the hulls, and slice them in half. If using frozen strawberries, there's no need to thaw them.
- Juice the Lemons: Squeeze the lemons to extract 1 cup of lemon juice. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds and pulp if desired.
- Blend the Ingredients: In a blender, combine the strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, ice, and water. Blend on high until smooth and frothy. Depending on your blender's strength, this should take about 30 seconds to a minute.
- Taste and Adjust: Taste the mixture. If it’s too tart, add more sugar to your liking. For a more vibrant flavor, you can also add a splash of lemonade instead of plain water.
- Serve Immediately: Pour the frozen strawberry lemonade into glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and added freshness.
- Enjoy: Serve immediately for the best slushy consistency.
- Variations
- Add Other Fruits: Mix in other berries like blueberries or raspberries for a mixed berry flavor.
- Make it Sparkling: Replace the water with sparkling water or lemon-lime soda for a fizzy twist.
- Alcoholic Version: For an adult version, add a splash of vodka or rum to each glass for a refreshing cocktail.
