How to Make a Brownie Fondant Cake

- 4 cups of powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of water

- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Add this to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes. Let it cool completely.
- Make the Fondant:
- Melt the marshmallows and water in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir every 30 seconds until melted.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough until smooth. Add food coloring if desired.
- Assemble the BFC:
- Roll out the fondant to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Carefully place the fondant over the cooled brownie, smoothing it out with your hands.
- Trim any excess fondant and decorate as desired.
