- 4 oz fresh blackberries plus extra for garnish
- 1 oz fresh lime juice about 1 lime
- 2 oz tequila preferably blanco
- 1 oz agave syrup adjust based on sweetness preference
- 1 oz rosemary-infused simple syrup see below for the infusion method
- Ice
- Salt or sugar for rim optional
- Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
- For the Rosemary-Infused Simple Syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3-4 fresh rosemary sprigs

- Method
- Step 1: Prepare the Rosemary-Infused Simple Syrup
- Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Add the rosemary sprigs and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Remove from heat and let it steep for about 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the syrup into a clean jar and let it cool. This can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
- Step 2: Make the Blackberry Rosemary Margarita
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh blackberries until they’re broken down.
- Add the fresh lime juice, tequila, agave syrup, and rosemary-infused simple syrup.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- If desired, rim your glasses with lime juice and dip them in salt or sugar.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses filled with ice.
- Garnish with additional blackberries and a sprig of fresh rosemary.
- Step 3: Serve and Enjoy
- Serve the margaritas immediately and enjoy the refreshing taste!

- Frozen Blackberry Rosemary Margarita: Blend the ingredients with ice for a frozen treat.
- Spicy Blackberry Rosemary Margarita: Add a few slices of jalapeño to the shaker for a kick.
