- 1 ½ oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz ginger syrup or homemade
- 1 oz agave syrup adjust for sweetness
- 2 oz silver tequila
- ½ medium cucumber sliced (plus extra for garnish)
- 1 oz soda water optional for a fizzy touch
- Ice cubes
- For Homemade Ginger Syrup optional:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh ginger sliced

- Method
- Prepare the Ginger Syrup (if making from scratch):
- In a saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and sliced ginger. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Strain the syrup into a jar and refrigerate until ready to use.
- Muddle the Cucumber:
- In a cocktail shaker, add the cucumber slices and muddle gently to release the juices. Don’t over-muddle; you just want to break it down a bit.
- Mix the Ingredients:
- Add the fresh lime juice, ginger syrup, agave syrup, and tequila to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Strain and Serve:
- Strain the mixture into two glasses filled with ice.
- If desired, top with soda water for a refreshing fizz.
- Garnish with cucumber slices or a lime wedge.

- Take a sip and enjoy the refreshing combination of flavors!
- Variations
- Spicy Kick: Add a few slices of jalapeño during the muddling process for a spicy twist.
- Herbaceous Touch: Muddle in some fresh mint or basil for an aromatic addition.
