  • 1 oz ginger syrup or homemade
  • 1 oz agave syrup adjust for sweetness
  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • ½ medium cucumber sliced (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 oz soda water optional for a fizzy touch
  • Ice cubes
  • For Homemade Ginger Syrup optional:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup fresh ginger sliced

  • Prepare the Ginger Syrup (if making from scratch):
  • In a saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and sliced ginger. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • Strain the syrup into a jar and refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Muddle the Cucumber:
  • In a cocktail shaker, add the cucumber slices and muddle gently to release the juices. Don’t over-muddle; you just want to break it down a bit.
  • Mix the Ingredients:
  • Add the fresh lime juice, ginger syrup, agave syrup, and tequila to the shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  • Strain and Serve:
  • Strain the mixture into two glasses filled with ice.
  • If desired, top with soda water for a refreshing fizz.
  • Garnish with cucumber slices or a lime wedge.
