Frozen Cucumber Margarita Recipe Guide
#Frozen Cucumber Margarita
Equipment
- Equipment Needed: Blender, measuring jigger, serving glasses, and a knife
Ingredients
- Ingredients
- 1 medium cucumber peeled and roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice about 2 limes
- 1/4 cup tequila silver or blanco is best
- 2 tablespoons orange liqueur like Cointreau or Triple Sec
- 2 tablespoons simple syrup adjust to taste
- 2 cups ice
- Optional: salt or Tajín for rimming glasses
- Optional: lime wedges or cucumber slices for garnish
Instructions
- Method
- Prep the Cucumber: Peel and chop the cucumber into chunks. This will make it easier to blend. If you want a stronger cucumber flavor, you can keep the skin on for extra color and nutrients.
- Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the chopped cucumber, fresh lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur, simple syrup, and ice. Blend until smooth. You want a slushy consistency, so don’t rush this step!
- Taste and Adjust: Pour a small amount into a glass and taste it. If you prefer it sweeter, add more simple syrup. If you want it tangier, squeeze in more lime juice.
- Prepare the Glasses: If desired, rim the serving glasses with salt or Tajín. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim, then dip it into a plate of salt or Tajín.
- Serve: Pour the frozen margarita into the prepared glasses. Garnish with lime wedges or cucumber slices for that extra touch.
- Enjoy! Sip and savor the refreshing taste of your Frozen Cucumber Margarita!
- Variations
- Spicy Cucumber Margarita: Add a slice or two of jalapeño to the blender for a spicy kick.
- Herbal Twist: Blend in fresh mint or basil for a herbal flavor that complements the cucumber beautifully.
- Fruit-Infused: Toss in some fresh fruit like strawberries or mango for a fruity twist
