Instructions
- Instructions
- Prepare the Ginger Infusion:
- In a small bowl, combine the grated ginger and pear juice. If you’re using honey or agave, add it here too.
- Let this mixture sit for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Juice the Lemon:
- While the ginger and pear mixture is infusing, squeeze the juice from a fresh lemon. This will add a nice tartness that balances the sweetness of the pear.
- Shake It Up:
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain the ginger-pear mixture into the shaker along with the lemon juice.
- Shake well until chilled.
- Serve:
- Fill two champagne flutes or glasses halfway with the ginger-pear mixture.
- Top with sparkling water or club soda, giving it a gentle stir to mix.
- Garnish:
- Add pear slices and a sprig of fresh mint to each glass for a lovely presentation.
- Variations
- Spicy Twist: Add a slice of jalapeño for a spicy kick!
- Herbal Note: Include a few fresh basil or thyme leaves in the shaker before mixing.
- Alcoholic Version: Add a shot of gin or vodka for an adult twist.
