- 1 oz pear juice fresh or store-bought
- ½ oz spicy simple syrup see below for how to make
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
- Garnish: Thin pear slices and a sprinkle of chili powder or Tajín for extra kick
- Spicy Simple Syrup
- To add that spicy kick you’ll need a spicy simple syrup:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1-2 sliced jalapeños adjust based on spice preference

- Instructions to Make Spicy Simple Syrup:
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan.
- Add sliced jalapeños and bring to a boil.
- Stir until sugar dissolves, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat, let it cool, and strain out the jalapeños. Store in the fridge for up to a month.
- Method
- Prepare Your Glass: Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice water while you make the cocktail.
- Mix Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, pear juice, spicy simple syrup, and fresh lemon juice.
- Shake It Up: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain: Empty the ice water from your martini glass and fine-strain the mixture into the glass.
- Garnish: Add thin pear slices to the rim and a sprinkle of chili powder or Tajín on top for that extra flair.
- Serve: Enjoy your Spicy Pear Martini.
- Variations
- For a Sweeter Version: Add more pear juice or a splash of grenadine.
- Make It Sparkling: Top with a splash of soda water for a refreshing twist.
