  • ½ oz spicy simple syrup see below for how to make
  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice
  • Garnish: Thin pear slices and a sprinkle of chili powder or Tajín for extra kick
  • Spicy Simple Syrup
  • To add that spicy kick you’ll need a spicy simple syrup:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1-2 sliced jalapeños adjust based on spice preference

  • Instructions to Make Spicy Simple Syrup:
  • Combine sugar and water in a saucepan.
  • Add sliced jalapeños and bring to a boil.
  • Stir until sugar dissolves, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, let it cool, and strain out the jalapeños. Store in the fridge for up to a month.
  • Method
  • Prepare Your Glass: Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice water while you make the cocktail.
  • Mix Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, pear juice, spicy simple syrup, and fresh lemon juice.
  • Shake It Up: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain: Empty the ice water from your martini glass and fine-strain the mixture into the glass.
  • Garnish: Add thin pear slices to the rim and a sprinkle of chili powder or Tajín on top for that extra flair.
  • Serve: Enjoy your Spicy Pear Martini.

  • For a Sweeter Version: Add more pear juice or a splash of grenadine.
