Fig Maple Honey Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Fig Maple Honey FMH
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in yogurt, FMH, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients into wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Pour batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
