  • Prepare the Ingredients:
  • If using fresh peaches, slice them into thin wedges. If you opted for peach puree, have it ready.
  • Squeeze fresh lime juice into a measuring cup.
  • Muddle the Peaches:
  • In a cocktail shaker, add a few peach slices (about 2-3) and muddle them gently to release their juices. Be careful not to over-muddle; you want the flavors without turning it into a puree.
  • Add the Liquids:
  • Pour in the vodka, peach schnapps (or puree), and fresh lime juice into the shaker.
  • Shake It Up:
  • Add ice to the shaker, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This step chills the drink and blends all the flavors beautifully.
  • Strain and Serve:
  • Fill two copper mugs (or glasses) with ice and strain the mixture from the shaker into the mugs, dividing it evenly.
  • Top each mug with ginger beer and give it a gentle stir.
  • Garnish:
  • Add additional peach slices and a sprig of fresh mint to each drink for a lovely presentation.
