Method
Prepare the Ingredients:
If using fresh peaches, slice them into thin wedges. If you opted for peach puree, have it ready.
Squeeze fresh lime juice into a measuring cup.
Muddle the Peaches:
In a cocktail shaker, add a few peach slices (about 2-3) and muddle them gently to release their juices. Be careful not to over-muddle; you want the flavors without turning it into a puree.
Add the Liquids:
Pour in the vodka, peach schnapps (or puree), and fresh lime juice into the shaker.
Shake It Up:
Add ice to the shaker, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This step chills the drink and blends all the flavors beautifully.
Strain and Serve:
Fill two copper mugs (or glasses) with ice and strain the mixture from the shaker into the mugs, dividing it evenly.
