  • Garnish: Thin slice of fresh ginger or lemon twist
  • For Honey Syrup:
  • 1 part honey
  • 1 part hot water
  • Tip: You can adjust the amount of honey syrup to your taste. If you prefer a sweeter martini increase the amount by ¼ oz.

  • Prepare the Honey Syrup
  • In a small bowl, mix equal parts honey and hot water.
  • Stir until the honey is fully dissolved.
  • Let it cool down for a couple of minutes.
  • Set aside.
  • Make the Ginger Juice
  • If you have fresh ginger, peel and grate a small piece.
  • Muddle it in a shaker or crush it with a spoon to extract the juice.
  • If you don’t want to use fresh ginger, you can substitute with store-bought ginger juice.
  • Combine the Ingredients
  • In your cocktail shaker, add ice cubes.
  • Pour in 2 oz of vodka (or gin if you want to add a different flavor twist).
  • Add 1 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
  • Pour in the cooled honey syrup.
  • Finally, add the ginger juice (or muddled fresh ginger).
  • Shake it Up
  • Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds. You want the ingredients to combine well and chill the drink.
  • Strain and Serve
  • Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
  • Garnish with a thin slice of ginger or a lemon twist for an elegant finish.

  • Vodka Substitute: You can use gin for a more botanical taste, or even white rum for a tropical twist.
  • Honey Substitute: For vegans, you can swap honey with agave syrup or maple syrup, which also adds a distinct flavor.
  • Alcohol-Free Version: To make this a mocktail, simply replace the vodka with sparkling water or ginger ale.
  • Dietary Substitutions: If you’re watching sugar intake, try using a sugar-free honey alternative or skip the honey syrup entirely for a sharper taste.
