Method
Prepare the Glasses:
If you want a salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the rim of your glasses and dip them into a plate of salt or Tajín. This adds a lovely flavor contrast.
Blend the Fruits:
In a blender, combine the diced mango, pineapple chunks, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
Mix the Margarita:
In a cocktail shaker, add the fruit blend, tequila, triple sec, and agave syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.
Strain and Serve:
Strain the mixture into the prepared glasses filled with ice.
Garnish and Enjoy:
Garnish with lime wedges and fresh pineapple slices if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy your tropical escape!
Variations
Frozen Mango Pineapple Margarita: For a frozen version, blend the ingredients with ice instead of shaking them in a shaker.
Spicy Kick: Add a slice of jalapeño to the shaker for a spicy twist.
Non-Alcoholic Version: Omit the tequila and triple sec, and replace them with coconut water or sparkling water for a refreshing mocktail.
