  • Using a muddler, gently press down on the peaches and basil to release their juices and flavors. Be careful not to over-muddle; you want to break them down just enough to infuse the drink.
  • Step 2: Mix the Ingredients
  • Add the white wine and simple syrup to the muddled mixture.
  • Stir gently to combine all the flavors.
  • Step 3: Prepare the Glasses
  • Fill two serving glasses with ice cubes.
  • Strain the peach and basil mixture evenly into the glasses, filling them about halfway.
  • Step 4: Top with Sparkling Water
  • Carefully pour the sparkling water over the mixture in each glass.
  • Give it a gentle stir to combine.
  • Step 5: Garnish and Serve
  • Garnish with fresh basil sprigs if desired.
