  • For the Raspberry Syrup if making homemade:
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Method
  • Step 1: Prepare the Raspberry Syrup (Optional)
  • Combine Ingredients: In a small saucepan, combine fresh raspberries, sugar, and water.
  • Heat: Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves.
  • Strain: Once the raspberries break down, remove from heat and strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a container. Allow to cool.
  • Step 2: Mix the Cocktail

  • Add Ingredients: Pour in the gin, fresh lemon juice, and raspberry syrup (adjust according to your sweetness preference).
  • Shake: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  • Strain: Strain the mixture into glasses filled with ice.
  • Step 3: Top It Off
  • Add Club Soda: Gently pour club soda over the top to fill the glasses. Stir gently to combine.
  • Garnish: Add fresh raspberries and a lemon slice for garnish.
  • Variations
  • Herbal Twist: Add fresh mint leaves while muddling the raspberries for a minty flavor.
  • Sparkling Wine Alternative: Replace gin with sparkling wine or prosecco for a bubbly version.
  • Mocktail Version: Substitute gin with tonic water or lemonade for a refreshing non-alcoholic drink.
