Method
Juicing the Lemons:
Start by juicing the fresh lemons until you have one cup of juice. If you prefer a less tart flavor, feel free to adjust the amount of lemon juice to your taste.
Mixing the Base:
In a pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice, rose syrup, and honey or sugar. Stir until well blended. The rose syrup gives this drink its unique floral flavor, while the sweetener balances the tartness of the lemon.
Adding Water:
Slowly add the four cups of water to the mixture. If you’re using sparkling water, add it gently to maintain the fizz. Stir the mixture lightly to combine all the ingredients without losing the bubbles.
Chilling the Lemonade:
Let the lemonade sit for about 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. You can also chill it in the refrigerator if you prefer a cooler drink.
Serving:
Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the rose lemonade over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices for a beautiful presentation.
Enjoying:
Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing taste of your homemade rose lemonade!
