  • 2 oz pear vodka
  • 4 oz ginger beer
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz spiced pear puree see substitution below
  • Garnish: lime wedge and a cinnamon stick optional
  • Ice cubes

  • To make the spiced pear puree blend together:
  • 1 ripe pear peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup for a vegan option

  • Make the Spiced Pear Puree:
  • In a blender, combine the chopped pear, cinnamon, nutmeg, and honey. Blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of water to thin it out. Set aside.
  • Mix the Cocktail:
  • In a cocktail shaker, add the pear vodka, fresh lime juice, and 1 oz of the spiced pear puree.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.
  • Serve:
  • Fill a copper mug (or glass) with ice.
  • Strain the mixture from the shaker into the mug.
  • Top off with ginger beer and stir gently to combine.
  • Garnish:
  • Add a lime wedge and a cinnamon stick for an extra touch of flavor and presentation.
