  • 1 slice of jalapeño adjust to taste
  • Ice crushed or cubed
  • Pineapple wedge and jalapeño slice for garnish

  • Prepare the Simple Syrup (if making from scratch):
  • Combine equal parts water and sugar in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool before using.
  • Blend the Ingredients:
  • In a blender, combine the white rum, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, pineapple chunks, and jalapeño slice. Add ice until the blender is about halfway full.
  • Blend Until Smooth:
  • Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth. Taste the mixture and adjust the heat by adding more jalapeño if desired.
  • Strain (Optional):
  • If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any pulp.
  • Serve:
  • Pour the daiquiri into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a slice of jalapeño for an extra touch.
