  • 1-2 slices jalapeño adjust based on spice preference
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • For the Margarita:
  • 4 ounces tequila blanco or reposado
  • 2 ounces triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedges and coarse salt for rimming glasses optional

  • In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries, jalapeño slices, honey or agave syrup, and lime juice.
  • Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust the sweetness or spiciness as desired.
  • If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.
  • Rim the Glasses (Optional):
  • If you want to rim the glasses with salt, moisten the rim with a lime wedge and dip it into coarse salt.
  • Mix the Margarita:
  • In a cocktail shaker, add the strawberry puree, tequila, triple sec, and fresh lime juice.
  • Fill the shaker with ice cubes, cover it, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.
  • Serve:
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared glasses, over ice if desired. Garnish with a lime wedge or a strawberry slice for a pop of color.
  • Variations
  • Frozen Spicy Strawberry Margarita: Blend all ingredients with ice for a frozen version.
  • Non-Alcoholic Version: Substitute tequila and triple sec with sparkling water or a non-alcoholic spirit to enjoy a refreshing mocktail.
  • Fruity Twist: Add other fruits like mango or pineapple for a tropical flavor.
