Method
Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all your ingredients and measure them out. Freshly squeezed lime juice makes a big difference in flavor, so if you can, go for it!
Mix the Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine the pineapple juice, coconut rum, orange juice, and lime juice. If you’re using grenadine, add it now for a beautiful color gradient.
Shake it Up: Fill the shaker with ice cubes, put the lid on securely, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. You want the drink to be well-chilled.
Strain and Serve: Fill your glasses with fresh ice cubes. Strain the mixture from the shaker into the glasses, filling them about three-quarters full.
Garnish: Top each drink with a fresh fruit slice or a cherry. If you added grenadine, you’ll see a lovely sunset effect in your drink!
Enjoy: Take a moment to appreciate your creation before diving in!
Variations
Non-Alcoholic Tropical Breeze: Swap out the coconut rum for coconut-flavored syrup and omit the alcohol for a refreshing mocktail.
Fruity Twist: Add a splash of mango puree or passion fruit juice to enhance the tropical flavor.
Spicy Kick: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a slice of jalapeño to the shaker for a spicy version.
